October page - flower
I should add that the flower on my October page is from techniques I learned from Paula Walter.
I bought the fabric that way from one of my local quilt stores. I am lucky, I have several great quilt stores in my general area, not to mention how many there probably are in the Northern CA area. I have the material in other color ways too. The flower in the pictures is a Dahlia. I got it at my local farmers market.
I live in beautiful northern California near San Jose. I love to bead, read, knit, take pictures and a few other things (quilting, needlepoint and more.) I have a dog (Disco the Golden)a Shiloh Shepherd and upon occastion a foster dog all of which I will mention a lot I am sure and of course post pictures of. When I am in the mood I like to garden. I have lived in several parts of the country, but like California the best.

Your fabric is stunning. Did you paint it or buy it that way? -Karen
